I own a small training centre teaching school kids basic car/motorbike/bike maintenance as part of their curriculum. We are a City & Guilds accredited centre and we have contracts with the local schools and authorities. We deal with mainstream, excluded and special needs kids but never at the same time! I have been a paramedic for 26 years, in my time off I get press ganged into helping my wife run her home brew business once her business requirements of myself have satisfied and I have completed my manly chores I get to go for a dive or two.

I get to retire next year but going on previous posts I had better make the most of what I have now as once I retire I will have time for nothing

I think your Hotpoint is probably about the last of those still made by Hotpoint rather than a re-badged Indesit which is all they are now. Most machines will churn on for 5 or 6 years nowadays - even the real cheapo ones.
