Not starting code 1259 HELP (57 2.2 manual diesel)

Hi guys, I thought I had a fuel pump issue just before Christmas ,not sure now, after the engine cut out on the motorway ...thinking it was a fuel pump issue as I can't hear it working, I've :-

New battery
Starter motor
Fuel filter
Extra earth strap
Batteries in keys replaced

We have had the pause before start issue and disconnect battery before it will start issue

Codes are cleared just. P 1259 coming up

I have phoned both of my local dealers who know nothing about a software upgrade, and am reluctant to change the clocks as this appears to be no guaranteed fix
Steering lock appears to function as it should

Any ideas guys ......it's my wife's car and I bought her a leather interior for Christmas so she's giving me some right ear ache

I would be looking at the crank position sensor as it sounds faulty to me, Normal symptoms juddering intermittently then non start issues. The Crank position sensor costs around £20 I fitted one to my mates free lander 2 last week. Thumbs Up

LR000681P1 Crank position sensor.

What battery did you fit? Code suggests immobiliser - low battery voltage would be good starting point 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Filled fuel filter.........tried starting with a starter pack and new battery to ensure voltage.......wouldn't crank sensor failure show a code?

Alarm light stays on for first couple of turns of the engine ,does this mean anything?

That fault code relates to "Immobiliser to power train control module signal failure" as Jim has said.

And the main repository for immo stuff is BCM (Central Junction Box).
Check connections around CJB,
Communication between CJB and engine ECU is over high speed CAN bus.

are these components all tied together ,I've if I have a failure do I need to replace them all .......I had a boxster that got damp under the carpet and needed all these parts changing along with all the door locks and ignition switch
