The Freelander is staying for a while as we didn't want to part with it. Be interesting to see which one gets used most!!!

I was hoping for a warehouse full of spare land rover parts then I would not have to worry how much the next part is gonna cost especially when the Mrs breaks it.

I have just about given up on hoping that LR will produce anything that would suit me. The company is obsessed with things that do not appeal to me at all - the "premium" tag - vast running costs, complexity, bling etc.
I love my Freely2 and it is going better than ever so no need to replace it thank goodness. The prices of new Landrovers are ludicrous - in the Winter Edition of 4 x 4 magazine they test most new 4 x 4s - the DS does not do very well - the only class winners were the Evoque and the RR Sport. The Disco Sport they tested cost £47K and the Disco was £64k - The Full Fat was £106K!!!
In comparison the vehicle that won best overall 4x 4 for 2016 was the Jeep Renegade at £29 K. Bravo Jeep - it is, as one tester stated - the car Landrover should have made.
