Hi, I have a problem just started. When I am at a junction and turn left or right from standstill there is a juddering coming from the rear. It is fine when pulling away straight. I have not long had the rear diff replaced could this have something to do with it. Cheers

Haldex not releasing quickly enough on pull away. Not sure how to fix it, might be a software issue. It happens occasionally on one of ours. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Sounds like rear diff locking up - had it on a couple of cars at work, usually down to diff fluid becoming contaminated or not filled correctly.

I had this when my tires were over-inflated.
As soon as I drop the pressure below 2.2 bars, no juddering....

Sounds like the same symptoms as I had when the haldex unit went. Replaced under warranty at just under 30k miles. Mine only happened when cold on tight right or left hand turns. Went away after a few miles as it seemed to heat up and work correct.

My haldex had that problem straight after they did my diff under warranty (actually driving home from the dealer). Apparently there is a special process for filling the fluids correctly and if it isn't done right then issues can occur.

It certainly sounds like diff or Haldex. Mike is correct - there's a process for re-filling the Haldex involving topping up, running the pump for several minutes, topping up again, then extracting a precise amount of fluid from the unit. If this isn't done properly it can cause problems and even damage the Haldex. The Haldex has to come off to get at the diff, so it will have been removed, refitted and refilled when the diff was done.

Why take it to a different garage and get charged for it.
Take it back the the garage who did the repair then they should correct the matter for no cost if thats the issue.
And they should be told they arent doing it right, if they do them all like yours and no one takes it back they will think theyre spot on instead of spot off?

Update. I took it back to the garage that done the work. They over filled it and used wrong oil. Oil changed out and refilled correctly. All ok now.
