Is there room?

Hello.

So with a baby on the way, I wondered if someone could possibly advice on the following:

1. Is there any knee room for the front passenger with the baby seat in the back (I'm 6ft 4)?
2. Is there room in the boot for all the clobber (cots, clothes, diapers, buggy, etc)?

Thanks so much.

in a word...........yes Thumbs Up

im 6'3'', my son is 6'6'' and my daughter is 5'11''. we all fit in with plenty of room.

the boot should be big enough for everything but if your running a bit tight due to pram size (remember it wont always be a big pram you need as they get older) then buy a load/dog guard so you can stack things higher safely.

access for putting the car seat in will be a lot better than most others too due to the height and space available.

as long as the FL2 is running fine and suits all your other needs then why get rid of it ?

Thanks very much. Very helpful to know. The car certainly suits all our other needs at the moment.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

I just bought a FL2 specifically because we have a new one due in Feb, we already have a 10 and 7 year old, but i thought the FL1 wasnt wide enough, discovered then that the FL2 is wider and there is much more room.

we now have a baby seat and two boosters in the back,

Like Rog said, get a dog/ load barrier, then theres plenty of room for changing bags, prams and all the rest of the rubbish you have to take for a day at the beach etc.. you will find that you'll get your own unique way of stacking things. MY2011 Freelander 2 GS Santorini Black

It is a bit of a squeeze. My wife (5'3") was a tad squashed with the baby seat in the back. (All depends on baby seat though). The rear seats are quite wide so they will take 3 child seats or adults plus baby seats.
The boot will not fit all our baby stuff and we don't have that much. I could not fit an off road buggy in. I ended up with roof box on all the time. I then admitted defeat and just bought a Citroen grand Picasso which fits everything in.

Remember the back may well be wide enough for three infant seats but there are only Isofix points for two. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
