Unfortunately we cannot find this part number in the Microcat. Dan at Duckworths is ordering in another mirror we suspect may be the homelink mirror for Freelander 2 and we will know tomorrow.

Does anyone, other than our friends in the US, as the US used different frequencies, have a picture similar to this so we can identify a part number;

031CZ is a factory option number, as in a feature that is added to the car during the build, but that particular number refers to the Auto Dimming Interior Mirror – (with Humidity Sensor) option, not including the Homelink.

6H42-17A679-CA is the Homelink Mirror from the L322 Range Rover, Jag XF and XJ, not the Freelander obviously.

Here is a listing from the US for a 2013-2015 Mirror with Homelink LR031762 http://www.ebay.com/itm/LAND-ROVER-OEM-10-...1354851578 that'll be the wrong frequency but looks to be the right "fitment" if you know what I mean.

The other version of that number is LR031761 which would be the Euro frequency, which is listed for LHD in the Microcat?

Dan is ordering in LR031760 as he believes this may be it even though it's not described in the Microcat.
LR031761 is the LHD mirror I referred to previously.
If we don't succeed with these I've asked Dan to escalate to LR technical for clarification on the part number that refers to that bulletin. It may turn out we will have to use LR031761.
Good news is that will fit all FL2's regardless of MY, as long as you already have auto dim mirror, if not will still fit but you will need to run wiring. Hence probably why it has the (031CZ) stated in that bulletin, thanks for that information  MY15

Yeah I don't know about the LR031760, it doesn't look like a Homelink mirror to me.

LR031760 supercedes LR007419, I think that it's the electro-chromic mirror with humidity sensor, no homelink.

And then the LR031759 is the version without humidity sensor.

Seems to me that LR031761 is the only option for Homelink in EU frequency.

Dan at Duckworths informs me that LR032760 has gone to back order until the end of the year so we won't have confirmation on this part no until NY. Have requested confirmation on bulletin and if LR036761 is Infact the homelink mirror LR are talking about. MY15

The official reply from LR to Homelink mirror for FL2 in relation to the official bulletin is as follows and thank you to Dan Roberts of Duckworth Parts for following up for us

""The only Homelink transmitter available as an accessory is for Discovery Sport and Evoque - LR058508.
For other Land Rover vehicles Homelink mirrors are not available as an accessory.
In Freelander 2 model Homelink mirrors were originally fitted only on LHD European markets and NAS markets.""

LR is referring to LR031761 (LHD ROW).

Was only available as an "option" and not an "accessory" hence only in parts catalogue.

So if you want Homelink then that's the part number to order.

For someone who cloth tapes all his wiring where possible uses correct wiring colours and JLR connectors for stuff which is
hidden behind trim and panels, guess this makes me OCD then the view of the garage door opener in front of me every day is starting to annoy me.

The 433mhz Homelink mirror is available and is “plug and play� as long as you have an electrochromic mirror already which I do but it’s insane money.

I’m about to start a project involving the roof sonsole so I’ve decided to included the garage door opener as part of this as an alternative to the pricey Homelink option using the unused sunroof switch location.

I’ll be starting a new thread for this, if in the future the Homelink mirror comes available at a justifiable price or
I win lotto then I’ll update. MY15
