I had a look at the factory 18" wheels on our FL2, there is no load rating on them, which wheels do you have that are marked 680kg?

In any case 680kg doesn't seem like much, I found some info regarding Disco/RRS wheels having a rating of 940kg in 17, 18 & 19 and the 20's are 858kg http://www.aulro.com/afvb/d3-d4-rrs/157207...heels.html

Obviously the bigger LR's are heavier and with a 3.5T towing capacity they would need it too.

My Freelander is a 15MY SE Tech with 19" ten spokes. My winter wheels are a set of 19" style 3 of an Evoque. When I can get out I'll try and see if the Evoque wheels have a load rating. I don't fancy my chances of getting a good picture though.

Sorry rubbish picture needs rotating and clearer on weight.

Gav.

Cambo, the wheels look good, better than the evoque wheels I've got on mine. I took some pictures today and my Evoque wheels have a rating of 650 kg. I can't think why some have a rating on them and others don't. Hope you can all read the writing in the mirror.

Gav.

Thanks for that.

Yeah it's a bit odd that some wheels have load ratings and others not. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

Well load rating is a simplistic thing. The reality is the overall punishment a wheel takes is complex. If you are only doing on road like a Jaguar then thecwheel would be fine on LR. But LR are designed and stressed and tested on off road duty too. Also more severe kerb strike and ditch drop I think. FL2 11 S Black 😂

A pothole in the road near where I live claimed a few puncture victims a couple of weeks ago - the only car that suffered a broken wheel was a Jaguar! (Just saying) Whistle No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Doesn't surprise me, but that might have more to do with the tyre size than the wheel, for example my XJR runs 255/35R20, the Land Rover 255/50R20, that's a massive difference in sidewall. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

You collecting balance weights Shocked get them too take the tyre off and move it 180 degrees, you might find you don't need as many.
