4k is a waste of money, most programmes are not even broadcast in 1080 yet, the whole HD & ultra HD is a marketing ploy, before they can be broadcast in 4k they have to be filmed in 4k & then transmitted over the air , the technology is not yet out there to handle the huge amounts of data & bandwidth for this , I don't mean bandwidth like your internet, its a bit different, they're only just beginning to sort out digital signals , I wouldn't worry about a 4k TV for some time yet, the enhanced picture your seeing is not a 4k picture! It's just more pixels on the TV screen, you will get some things that seem to skip & blur & move oddly on the screen, also the picture will move faster than you hear the sound so it will be out of sync, if anything you need to manual down scale the settings to suit the current broadcast rate.

After having my 4K tv for a day now, I don't think 4K is a waste of time, 4K streams on Netflix and You Tube are amazing and upscaled 1080p is loads better too
