Local Halfords manager suggested I get their very reasonably priced seat protector designed specifically to stop such damage. (I have alpaca leather) It works and is very easy to fit & remove if you're switching seats between cars. Life is not a dress rehearsal! |

That's extravagant! I take it the seats are from day old female lambs! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device! We have a cheapish blanket across the back seats, tucked in to nice and neat, stops the seats being marked and serves as a great crumb catcher can be removed to shake out and wash when required. MY2011 Freelander 2 GS Santorini Black

Ha-ha Sorry to disappoint on both counts; alpaca was the colour and the cover is a simple unfussy metallic looking groundsheet material with simple strap to hook around the headrest to hold it in place. Once the car seat is in place it's barely visible, but an effective protection of the leather which is unmarked after several years family use. It was also cheap. Life is not a dress rehearsal! |
