Leather on armrest split

My car has tan leather on seats and arm rests. The driver arm rest leather has split where my elbow rests. Any ideas on how to fix that?

I have the same issue as well. There are a few on EBay but they don't look that flash on the product pictures.

Has anyone tried them?

It might be better to take it to a car trimmer, who will be able to match the colour and probably use a better quality material. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Drivers seat armrest on ours has a split in it, so I just had a look for a replacement. Ģ130+VAT & shipping, ouch!

I don't like the look those "stitched" eBay ones at all, running stitches down the middle won't match the seats at all... 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

I think the cost of a new spare itīs too expensive. I will look for a upholsterer or a cobbler that could mend it or make a new cover. It would be much cheaper. And a new one will have the same poor quality than the old one. It has only last for four years. The quality of the ecoleather is not as good as it would be for a Land Rover, may be in a Dacia would be OK, but not in a car wich cost its almost the double. My Range Rover does not lose oil, footprint the ground he walks on

Material I suspect is not Leather Hide but manmade substitute as is the sides of the so called Leather Seats.
Cobblers sewing machines are not of a quality to remanufacture this as there are no material guides on them.
Take the item to a re-trimming shop or Dry cleaners/Tailor Alterations that have the correct Sewing Machines. Offset your Carbon emissions by boycotting Baked Beans and all Green Vegitables.
