Ipod nano connection

I have been looking at some posts onn the site and was wondering is there any way I can get my Ipod nano to work via the radio, without spending the £160.0 to get the landrover Ipod adaptor. Freelander 2 SD4 hse Lux Loire Blue, side steps and roof rails fitted

I have a very simliar cable for my ute. However i recently bought a Belkin FM transmitter with holder. Because i wanted it to charge my iphone whilst driving. Anyway I had to return it. The sound was so bad. So i got a Griffin and the sound was a lot better. However always use the direct AUX cable. The FM transmitter you lose so much sound quality.

Regards

If you have an AUX input socket in the car (on RRS it is behind the centre cubby box, don't know where it is on Freel2) then you can plug in using just a 3.5mm jack plugged cable but you loose some functionality and you cannot control the ipod using the radio controls IIRC. You use the AUX button on the radio to hear the music How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

As Tim says there is an 3.5mm Aux jack port at the rear end of the centre console on the left hand side which is linked straight into the radio, so there is no compromise on sound quality.

The picture Barton provided is one option of connector, or you can get a simple 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, which works a treat.

As already said you need to select the songs on the ipod rather than through the radio, and you might need to buy a power adapter for the 12v socket depedning on how long you are away from your normal charger for. Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!
