Freelander2 drives across Aussie as part of LR 60th birthday

A post has appeared on RRSport about the Land Rover 60th Anniversary crossing of Australia. The entire fleet was represented, including Freelander2. I thought you ruffty tuffy offroading types might also enjoy reading about it. There are some cracking photos on these two links

Enjoy the story! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Noted the Goodyear Wrangler off-road tyres for FL2 from the report and pictures.
Anyone know which Wrangler tyre it is and the size?
It doesn't look like the standard 235/60/18 tyre and rim of my TD4 HSE.
I can't find Goodyear Wrangler tyre of this size.

They are 16 or 17's, the tyres are Wrangler MTRs not available in 18 inch. I doubt you will find a good off road tyre for an 18 inch rim.

Goodyear MTRs are available in 19", the wheels could be the 2009 alloys for D3 or RRS too. THe GY MTR's are constantly being sought by D3 and RRS owners and are very difficult to get hold of. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

According to this they only go to 17 http://www.goodyear.com.au/TyreDetailActio...m=nPerPage
But this in Australia so maybe they make 19 in other parts of the world.
