Enjoy it, it wasn't for me, missed the proper LR feel. Nice looking car just not for me.

Seems trivial compared to some of the issues being reported on a certain DS forum! Gearbox failures, deliveries suspended whilst a problem with the wiring loom is sorted, mulitple reports of software issues, B-pillar issues, rattles and squeaks, the list goes on. There's a thread on rejecting cars that's currently running to 8 pages! Looks like the FL's crown as most reliable LR ever is safe, for the moment at least. |

for a D4 to need suspension bushes replaced after a month or 2 is disgraceful.

Indeed that's one of the reasons why I canceled my order and went back to an FL2 until they sort all this out. Oh and the delays - crazy. Nice cars, but maybe in a year or two. |

Delays, yes. There's one ex-member of this very forum whose DS was built in August for early September delivery but who still hasn't got it more than two months later. LR won't release it until issues with the wiring and I think EGR have been sorted, and he still doesn't know when that will be. But at least he's managed to get hold of a DS loan car.

I was playing around with the fold out seats at the dealers the other day, has anyone actually sat on them for any distance?

A dry bush, all fixed and as good as new. The Ingenium powered DS is the worst of the bunch, engine problems are the cause of some of the delays. My one was delayed due to rear seat problems, once I got it, the rear seats rattled badly, repaired at the dealer. It had creaking in the B-pillar, still has it as far as I'm aware. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |
