It they report often enough that its going to be the worst and coldest winter in 1000 years, some day they will be right, that seems to be how the Mirror do it.

Looks like colder weather coming in the weekend, with some snow and strong winds on Friday. Glad I put the winter tyres on!

It's a passing cold blast that won't amount to anything away from higher ground in the north. 48 hours or so then back to mild. Albeit not as mild as this relentless crap we've had for weeks now. There is a chance of another blast late next week but nothing drastic. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Will let you know how we get on in Grizedale Forest on "The Grizedale Stages" car rally.

Anybody up that way spectating look out for my black FL2 (Fitted with General Grabber AT's so we should be OK) at junction 8 of special stages 3 and 5.
Also look out for Henry Buckets travelling through all the stages (Lucky So and So) delivering the timing equipment.

Unfortunately will not be able to take photo's as will be sat in in car checking competitor's through my junction and reporting to the radio controller if any go missing, break down or end up in the trees.
Plus which it is a No No for officials / marshals to be taking pictures whist on duty.

If I get any links for photos off the British Rally Forum website I will post them on here.

Cheers, Bill. Thumbs Up Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club.

Grizedale Stages Rally

As promised some video of Grizedale. Sorry it is the best I can find at the moment.
As you can see the weather was very bright but absolutely brass monkey.
