Just moved the Freelander to a safer parking place as a lamppost is wobbling alarmingly in the wind!

Lamp posts are designed to wobble in the wind, is only when they are rotted around the base from all the continuous dog pee it becomes a problem, |

The said Lampost is at least 30 years old, and is made of metal! It was there when we moved in!

If it's one of those with a waisted bit about 70cm from the ground where it goes to the thin long post, they have a habit of rotting inside, quite a few our way have come down in gales, they sheer the weld to the pole, perfect from the outside which is galvanised, rotten on the inside. Seems a good idea to move it, but the council will pay if you need a new model my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Just made it home, two diversions as main roads blocked in both directions. BBC travel website is good if you need to go out, unfortunately I was not told until I got home! |
