Rear doors not locking

Hi,
I've recently brought a second hand freelander 2 and feel a bit stupid as the rear doors don't lock with the remote central locking system. So now I have to manually lock them from the inside Embarassed The weird thing is that they open fine? Does any one know what the problem is?

I recently had a problem with my drivers door latch where the locking and unlocking worked sometimes but not others. I fitted a new door latch last weekend and all is now fine. However, if yours are unlocking ok then it sounds like something else and not the latches. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green

Yes I believe they do so, yes, could be the locking motor in each latch. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green
