Canada 2008 LR2 i6 SE Auto Rimini Red
Instagram page

Hi all,

I've just launched an Instagram page for my FL2/LR2. Debated on this one for a while, as I have a personal account and didn't want that one to be public. Seeing as my FL2 was filling up 80% of my personal account I went and created a public one just for it.

I've just posted the first few photos today and will probably keep on posting about 1 every day for the next little while. For anyone who wants to follow me feel free to do so, and do not feel pressured in any way! Just sending out the invite in case anyone wants to see pics of a Canadian FL2 once in a while.

My account is the_canadian_freelander ( https://www.instagram.com/the_canadian_freelander/ )

Cheers!

Some nice shots there. Now following. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

Johnm, most of Western Canada is already covered in snow, but it hasn't come this way yet. You can be sure there will be many once the snow arrives!

freelander2002, welcome aboard.

Hope everyone enjoys the pics!

Thank you. Love the Rimini red / dark interior combination as well - it stands out without being too flashy. Very Happy

I don't run winter tires all year as we do get quite warm summers as well. However, regarding my winter tires - they are Nokian Hakkapellita R's and they are absolutely amazing. Thumbs Up The wear, road noise, and grip on snow and ice (tested on many, many occasions) has been phenomenal in my opinion. The vehicle used to be owned by my parents and they both agreed they were the best winter tires they had used in 35+ years of driving in Canadian winters. They loved them so much they replaced the original Continental's with Nokian eNtyres for the summers - not a very positive experience. Confused I've since replaced the eNtyres by a new set of original Conti's - I'm aware that they wear out slightly fast, but they were a known value and I love how they handle in the dry - quite good in wet weather as well.
