Had this recall on my first FL2. In late 2008 car had fuse removed to deactivate PTC heater and called back 2-3 months later to have modified one fitted early 2009 I think. This was an ex demo 1st registered March 2008. All FL2's (3) Gone

Note that although the details of this recall are the same as the earlier one it was issued in October 2015 and appears to extend the number of cars affected by the equivalent of a month or so of production. Presumably they've found the faulty heaters in cars they thought were OK. |

Smell could be from the DPF regenerating, it gets extremely hot when doing so? |

I would say there is zero likelihood of it being built that long ago. Was most probably built in late 2010 at the very earliest as there are multiple interior and exterior trim differences as well as mods under the skin. |
