It's easy! You can also have a mix of both but I Havn't tried it yet, it's in the owners manual MY15

speedo reading should have MPH round the outside and KPH on the inside. all we used to do in Germany when seeing road signs etc was a quick calculation in our head 30MPH - 50KPH 50MPH - 80KPH 60MPH - 100KPH 75MPH - 120KPH 80MPH - 130KPH (recommended limit on autobahn) 150MPH - 240KPH (and yes I hit this a few times on the autobahns ) |

If you dont have a honk when trying to lock the car with a door not shut properly, to disable that function would mean you would go off and leave the car insecure and someone might easily be able to steal the car or some of its contents so its not worth even trying to think how to disable it.

You have a MY14, so you can change the digital readout via the steering wheel menu button. You cannot change the reading on the analogue dial, which, if it's like mine, only reads in mph. Easy things to remember - 50mph = 80 k, so 100 mph = 160k. 70 mph = roughly 120 k. Town speed limits are usually around 30mph equivalent. Basically you have to get used to using the digital kph readout. The cruise control is a useful help, particularly in France, where they have got very hot on speed limits. Remember also that the motorway limit is lower when it rains. Have a good hol! Using the menu was straightforward you can set one of the "Trips" to Metric and all distances are then in Km, fuel consumption in Ltr/100Km, distance to empty in Km and most importantly the Digital speed display on the centre of the panel reads in Km/Hr, you can also set the speed alarm warning at Km/Hr which I found useful in France.
