England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver
Tailgate release switch

Fixed it 😃 nearly paid £70 during its service to save me the hassle, so glad I didn't, took it to bits, cleaned all the corrosion out so it looked like new, coated everything in a smear of copper slip, bit of grease around the rubber seal lip and back together. Works a treat now and all for an hour of my time.

Yes it's a good feeling when a repair goes well and it saves you some money.
