Side Steps

Driving back home today and heard a bang from rear of car. On checking underneath i can see that one of the 22mm bolts that positions the side step has fallen out Crying or Very sad

Anybody now where I can source a replacement. Don't want to go to dealer as they will only sell a complete kit and I only need 1 bolt

You need to estabish why the existing one fell out, was it due to a stripped thread in the captive fixing say? If it was a new bolt wont tighten up properly and will fall out again.
Or has the step fixing been clouted damaging that and shearing the bolt off with part still in the body?

I don't think they are a standard thread so you will need an engineering supplier I believe.
