anyone know if someone on this forum has installed a wireless reverse camera coupled with a rear-view mirror screen?

I don't like the idea of using a GVIF solution, this wireless option seems like a nice alternative. I guess wiring the camera to the reverse light will make it work only while in reverse, which is the intention.

any advice?

I've done it with a wired camera, My experience with Wi-Fi cameras is that they aren't that good.

The most difficult part of the wiring is getting the power to the camera in the tailgate and getting power to the mirror and by the time you have done that you might as well wire the video signal between them, save a few quid and get a better image.
