Lets all video ourselves off roading!

I feel that some people don't see the LR2 as being as hardcore off road as it is. I've heard people refer to it as softroader etc, . The LR2 deserves more credit, so I took 5 mins out to record this silly little video, and I think more people need to do the same! Razz

That one going through tong lake looks great - I'd be pretty nervous doing that though, surely that cant be far off maximum wading depth?

From the video it looks to be over the max depth Shocked

It actually had a little floatation too right at the far end which was a little worrying.

In hindsite i would not do it again Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Sounds an interesting idea, Just make sure it is in a legal place (don't want to to discredit the off-road movement).

Actually, I'd be interested to hear how many and how people have taken the FL2 off road and how they behaved.

I took mine over some of the hills along a B.O.A.T in the Yorkshrie Dales. No mods to vehicle and on the 19" rims. An interesting set of "stone steps" at the end that had me on three wheels for some of it. '09 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

I think the only thing stopping that beast would be a six furrow plough. Mind you even then im still sure it would pull it better than my john deere. Rolling with laughter
