Hi all, me back again, some will remember the posts I put about my problems and total lack of help by ANYONE at landrover and was wondering if there is any good sound advice out there as one of the 'repairs ' which was done ie. drivers seat lowering by itself is now happening again!! approx.just 2 months later.

Did they swap the seat base?
If it's a manual seat and it's still doing it, a few members on here managed to get the manual seat base replaced, under warranty, with an electric one.

If the seat lowers itself whilst you are in it, it's a pretty major safety concern as the pressure your foot has on the brake or accelerator could be drastically changed if your seat drops.
Looks like you car is very new soni would be back and arguing that a permanent fix is imperative from a safety perspective and this is not just 'another nuisance warranty claim'. FL2 HSE Lux 2011 SD4 Gallway Green.

Is it a manual seat?
If you have manual seat (GS) and drive with it at higher level it is very easy and common with not so tall drivers to inadvertently lower seat each time you leave vehicle. All FL2's (3) Gone

I should think if it is the driver who unknowingly catches the lever when leaving or entering the vehicle causing the seat to lower it wouldnt be too difficult to block the mechanism under the seat with a strip of wood etc so once its set it wont move even if you do touch the lever??

'not so tall' well put I defiantly fall into that category. but no been down that road and its not that.
so heap o' is going back again but to a different dealership. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
