Olight S1 Baton - Ideal winter torch!

Morning all,

Well, I'm James and I'm a little bit addicted to torches and Swiss Army Knives.........thought I'd get that out of the way!

Anyway, saw this on my usual gadget/gear website the other day and knew I would have to buy it, its the new Olight S1 Baton, to give you some idea of its specs;

Using 1 x 3 V, 1500 mAh CR123A battery:
High: 500 lumens; 1.5 minutes run-time, 300 lumens; 1 hour, 30 minutes run-time*
Mid: 80 lumens; 6 hours run-time
Low: 8 lumens; 40 hours run-time
Moonlight Mode: 0.5 lumens; 25 days run-time
Strobe: 10 Hz; 3 hours run-time

Now, this is priced at £49.95, which yes is not cheap, but......eBay, Bang Good and AliExpress are retailing them much cheaper between £20 and £35. I'd basically sold a few bits and pieces elsewhere, this was a little treat and I'm very impatient so wanted it next day!

Me saying its tiny, is a bit of understatement, its truly a little pocket rocket! Ideal for your winter coat pocket or as a present for that person who has everything! There are some bargains to be had if you are in no rush so this is why I started the thread here.

Here is an independent review for you;

I'm in the paper manufacturing business and had some torches to try out, and these were brilliant....and is now our choice of torch. The light it puts out is better than most Bigger torches. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green
