I think the minimum is 3mm,it's becoming standard practise to change discs at same time as pads,got mine from Eurocarparts online think it was about £300 all round they had an offer on at the time but they usually do |

I have recently replaced the front pads on my 2011 SD4, at approx 70,000miles.

The "old rule" was, friction material getting close to thickness of metal backing plate. All FL2's (3) Gone
