United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Indus Silver
ContiCrossContact AT

Just had 4 of these fitted to replace my very worn out Yokohama winter tyres, will get some pictures up later but initial impression on a quick 20 min drive feel good. I had wanted some Grabber AT's but nobody local could supply them at anywhere near a reasonable price.

Seem to be fairly grippy on wet greasy roundabouts when chucked in, theres a little slide but that could be from the initial state of the tyres so we'll see what its like after a few more miles. Theres no difference in noise, infact its probably quieter than my previous tyres which correlates with the Tyre Labelling saying its 1dB quieter.

They look very nice, quite aggressive in tread pattern so look forward to getting them offroad.

Fitted by BlackCircles garage less than a mile from work, £113 a corner.

I had my Grabber AT fitted at Colemans near Macarther Glen for £112 a corner.

Cross Contact have a good rep as well I think, either way AT tyres will be great for what you use your FL2 for and they grip really well on road under 95% of conditions. Thumbs Up

Done about 100 miles on these and they've settled in nicely. No traction issues, pulled out of some mud like it was nothing. There is a bit of a drone at speed but that's to be expected with the tread, down about 0.5mpg to just under 41mpg now too.

Look the part though

Re: ContiCrossContact AT

Hello gingerlord.
In wet conditions, how do they behave?
Need to buy new "shoes" to my FL2, but i need them to be good in wet surfaces.
But wanted with the AT look! If possible!
