I made the mistake thinking General Grabber AT's would work in the snow and ice. They really don't. They do however look really good on a Freelander 2

as long as the GG AT tyres are a good all rounder thats fine by me. I would love to have 2 sets of tyres, one for winter and one for summer but thats a bit out of my budget at the minute. 2010 HSE SD4 in Santorini black

Just a possible alternate candidate, fitted Scorpion Verde All Season (19 inch) in Oct 2013 and did 54000 KM's on them:

Just as an update, I spoke to my insurance today (Elephant) and they said all terrains would not have any effect on cost of policy and have added it as a modification.

Presumably the Verde All Season? - The Verde is a summer road tyre that isn't even M+S rated. |

Apologies, only just picked up this question, as per the link in my post they were/are All Seasons (edited my earlier post) and done about 12000 km since Oct, including a trip back to Yorkshire & Gloucestershire over Xmas/New Year and no dramas. |
