If LR have shoe horned in a 2.7 then they have managed to keep things very quiet about it......................... must one of the few cars that has never received any speculative photos or autocar items! LR must be proud of themselves! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Based on what it does for the range rover - yes please! 07 Freelander 2 TD4SE Tambora Flame, side steps, privacy glass, mud flaps, boot liner and a tow bar. Ok it's the Wifes but she lets me drive it occasionally - if I've been good! |

seriously though... i would have loved to get a diesel freelander 2, but for me, the 2.2 was just too slow, hence i ended up with the 3.2 which has some great "go", but isnt doing its thing until 3000+rpm.

I'm sure you're right but we customers do have a tendency to tar you all with the same brush, that may seem a little unfair at times. However there are too many 'stealers' who really don't treat their customers with the respect they deserve. By that I don't mean bowing and scraping the customers every whim (I'm sure some are a complete pain in the 4rse!), but I do mean telling the truth, not fobbing customers of with BS excuses when things go wrong, acting with integrity. Those are qualities that some stealers wouldn't know if they hit them in the face. As I've mentioned before my dealer got off on the wrong foot because they had my car on their premises for a week without even realising it. First impressions are mighty important, that was a really bad start and they have done little to improve the situation since then. They certainly wont get the opportunity to supply me with another car. Rant over - it still bugs me 18 months down the line. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor ... but not any more ... ... psst look at my gallery! Company cars ... a thing of the past - May 2013. |

Rather unfortunate I called him by that name, quite unnecessary - In fact its a term I had never heard before I found Freel2 My DEALER was/has been/and hopefully will be, very helpful and reasonably knowledgeable of the vehicle he sold me (FL2 2.2 HSE). I had planned to order a Tonga Green SE with extras, but my DEALER got me a very good deal on an already imported HSE with more than I had intended to order and at a very reasonable price. I also got a very fare deal on my part exchange and in fact got the price I asked. So, all in all a very good deal. The big test will be when I get my first service in November, but so far I am a very satisfied customer. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
