Alloy wheel blister on spoke

Today I popped on the stock 19s and noticed a blister on one of the spokes. I've never came across this ever to be honest. There is no visible chip but it has blistered up my paint and not yet broken the paint. Anyone else came across this? It's a wheel but wonder where I will stand warranty wise ?

Never had this on an LR alloy myself.

I don't see a problem with a warranty claim, there's no sign of kerbing or chips. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Yeah little alloy corrosion. Seen it all to often mate. Worse thing is if you sand back to bare metal and refurb it will be back within a year. Id suggest either get it needs to be acid dipped and neutralised with chemicals then refurbed or replace. You usualy see it on polished wheels that are then clear coated.

Search google images for alloy wheel corrosion. You wont be the last who suffers it.

Looks to me as though the colour coat has been damaged before the clear coat was applied to me, if it definitely not impact damaged from stone or kerb?

Well good news JLR have approved the warrany claim. The new alloy will be fitted tomorrow. Even though these alloys are used in winter on standard M/S tyres I like everything to be immaculate Very Happy MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
