Thanks for the help, had alook at lots of places but cant find a perfect answer, so at a guess it has to be one of the items joined to the steering wheel, maybe new switch or new clock spring, will see if it happens again and if the same fault shows up.

I had this with my 57 plate. Exactly the same symptoms. I am pretty sure it was a software update that cured it. Mine was done under warranty but give your dealer a ring and check. Hunters in Derby had seen a few so sorted it straight away. |

Mine did it about once or twice a month. Like you I was a little sceptical but Hunters didn't change any parts-just the software update. Didn't do it again after so I assume that was the reason. |

I plugged my elm327 just to play with the Smartphone and this p0570 popped out in My 2007 fl2. The cruise control Works as it should ans the car seems tu run perfectly so i'm surprised to see this dtc. My elm327 shows p0570 and u3f12 as "stored dtc" if using carscanner pro app, but if I use the " autodoctor app" no dtc are found... |
