Did anyone find out if the wiring was there in the end for the door lights? Would really like them in my gs...

Hi Jon!

I think in the end it was a additional wire that plugged into the door module. This would involve taking the door panels off which if i'm honest i didn't fancy doing !

Cheers,

I've taken the door panel off and although I have the puddle lamp with the bulb also, there's no wire connected to it.
Unfortunately I couldn't find someone selling only this wire with the proper jack

England 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

Just looked in the footwell of my MY12 TD4 GS - the bulb holders were already there as previous posters have said, so a quick trip to my local auto spares shop for a couple of bulbs (£1 each), popped them in and Bosh! That's really cool. Very Happy

I haven't investigated the puddle lights yet.. 2020 Defender D200 110S Pangea Green

Mirror lamps

LR must have a lottery ball system to decide what to fit yearly. My 2010 has footwell lamps and puddle lamps but not mirror lamps. The wiring and connectors are all installed in the doors however they are not live, I guess it needs the dealer to program, (has anybody looked into upgrading?)
Kind regards to all from Fred

Bingo! Result!

As with others - all the hardware, just no lamps.

Plugged some in and ta-da - let there be light.
