Its worn away because you drag you feet over it as you got in and out, you need to watch carefully you dont catch it.

no its not worn there, its worn about 1/2 way up. I cleared out the inside of the care recently and had to hoover the door seals and it looked fine then. Must have been caused in the last few days

Could it have been the Hoover hose that caused it ? |

I've had two door seals replaced under warranty (passenger side front). No problems at all at dealer. |

Aaaaaah!! They are! Both the door and body has seals. Otherwise the interior wouldn't be such a pleasant place to be, let alone wading through a body of water. You can wade one without the inner door seals on, the primary door seal sould keep all the wet stuff out |

i dont think so as i had my hand on the hoover hose all the time, it looks like its been scraped when getting in/ out but given I am the only driver I am scratching my head to think when |

do you know who they attach ? they seem molded on is it just friction on a metal edge ? |

Give it a good pull it is just pushed on to the door aperture lip. |
