Tailgate locking!

09 model year//Rimini GS
I have followed the topic on fob locking and now have one click to open doors, filler cap. But I still cannot open the tailgate. I do a 'school run' every morning and can only open the tailgate if I remove the fob and activate it . I cannot open the tailgate with the fob in position, and certainly not with the engine running in an emergency. Confused

Try a search, tailgate switch will be corroded, under £30 and takes half an hour to do, not worth the hassle of stripping and cleaning for the sake of £30. There is a guide in the maintenance section on how to do it. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the dash for a few seconds - the tailgate should then open as though you'd pressed the button on the fob.
