Evening all. Was about to buy a new battery for my MY2011 FL2 and thought, just to be on the safe side to check it would physically fit before I bought it.

Thanks. This is why I'm asking - it needs to be an AGM one and I was told 80A. The 096 ones seem to be 70A FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

Your profile and signature say you have a TD4 , so you actually have TD4-e and that is why you are wanting a AGM battery ? |

No, all TD4s from a certain point have start stop as standard. They stopped using the "e" before mine. But from other discussions on here it was suggested it is crucial that you get a correctly rated AGM one. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

For completeness, I managed to get out and measure my own battery and it was the same size as the Exide 110 AGM Car Battery 80Ah AGM800 EK800 which I ordered from Tanya. The LR one in the car was also rated the same so made sense to go for the same.

I found my battery clamp really tight when I changed my battery last year! Don't know if it is torqued up when originally installed? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I also saw no mention of the little connector on the side of the battery in the caranual. Had to be removed so assumed it had to be plugged in to the new one. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I should also add I got a fright when the start stop kicked in at the lights. Haven't had that happen in almost a year! FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

I was the same, the stop/start calibration of the voltage sensor is supposed to take up to 48 hours. Mine started working two minutes after I had started the car! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
