Is anyone having doubts about the effectiveness of their handbrake ? Mine won't hold the car on an incline, even when pulled up as far as possible. A trip to the dealer I think. |

Sounds like the cable has stretched or the self adjuster isn't working How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I've gone out of my way to test effectivness of handbrake, got a couple of good 1 in 4 hills not too far away and have to say I've been quite impressed with it. Also recently returned from trip with the caravan and again handbrake held well even with 1400 attached to the towbar. |

Fixed now. The cable was loose apparantly, probably had always been like it. It's now been tightened and works a treat.
