United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Ipanema Sand

Just brought a BD amp which apparently (according to an American site) is that same as a DD, but on this this site it says that a BD is low line without phone, but the one I have just brought (for 45 quid) as all the connections, I'm now very confused.... Sad I got it anyway to see if it works, does anyone know any more? PS that part number is that same as a early DD

Part number sticker is not JLR, probably put there by breaker. Sorry to say imo you've bought the wrong amp. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Australia 2008 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Sumatra Black

The last two digits of the long part numbers, show a variant and a revison.

The 2nd last number is the variant, -Bx, -Cx, -Dx

The last number is the revision -xB, -xC, -xD

So a -BD is not going to be the same as a -DD, in fact it would appear that a -BD is from the Low-Line System

Key to getting the correct amp is last 2 letters, what you need is DD
BD - low line - no phone
CD - mid line with phone
DD - high line with phone

There was a -DB version of the amp, by rights that should work too for the Surround Sound

So long as the -DD version amp you bought is not blown up, it should work, perhaps your guy is not editing the CCF correctly? 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers

For ease of manufacturing probably. I would suggest that body of amp is same for all then they can build in whatever internals required 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

I think you're maybe unlucky with the garage you're using. Are you sure they no what they're doing in the Configuration file? 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

On my quest to upgrade the sound system I have just fitted the front two dash speakers, no real issues just the speaker covers a bit fiddly to take off but with some good old fashioned brute force off they came. Noticeable difference already in sound quality and DD amplifier from a Fl2 on its way from good old fleebay Very Happy
