My canon inkjet printer has broken down, so I need a new one, should I get a laser printer instead? nothing fancy £50-100 sort of thing? I don't need colour printing At work

at the office we bought a laser xerox colour printer, within 3 weeks of busy office use, it got a piece of paper jammed in the heat element that dry the toner.

DEFINITELY go with a laser printer. FAR more reliable, and less costly to print on a per page basis. I've had several different types of inkjet printers and have come to the following conclusion. If you print a lot, it can get expensive running through those cartridges. If you don't print much, it can get expensive replacing those cartridges- they dry out too readily. A laser printer just plain works, whenever you need it.

I have been using a Brother B&W laser at home for the last 8 years and never had a problem with it. |

I've got a Samsung CLP-300 Colour Laser which does me fine. Got it for Xmas from she who thinks she should be obeyed she also got a replacement set of toners (@half price with deal) but still on original so can't be bad |
