FL2 Sat Nav Disc DVD

Hi All

I have a 59 FL2 TD4.e with DVD sat Nav system with a 2008-2009 disc and I'm wandering what DVD I can upgrade to as I've been offered a 2012-2013 disc and I don't know if this will work or not

Thanks Freelander 2 TD4.e (59)

Hi Ping, for future reference the search function is very good Wink . You will be able to update to the latest disk if you are able to get hold of them. There are people on the net that sell 'genuine' LR disks for about £20. You can work that one out!

As RichP has said the newer the disk the better.
I have the 2014/2015 genuine LR disk in my 2008 FL2.
I also would not bother with copies (my opinion based on experience)
Check all usual selling places including for sale and wanted here.

Good Luck
Joe Fix it until it's broke !

The above mentioned site does not sell legitimate discs and a number of D4 members have questioned whether they are actually 'newer discs' Buyer beware

Hi Joe,

Have just come across your post in relation to having the newer disc in an older car. I have a 2007 HSE and have been thinking of upgrading for some time.

My question is, does it have an updated screen/ interface for entering addresses etc. or is it the same start up screens with newer roads once route has been set?

Thanks in advance for any info you can supply

Given the lack of new road building projects in the UK I wonder why it's necessary to get any updates at all? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

POI (including business phone numbers) and roads are updated, i am sure there was some bug fixes as well.
From software side i notice it is now much more simple to cancel the route once you start the navigation

Just buy the wife a new road map, works out cheaper than buying a HSE. Whistle FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

If you take a look at other posts on the subject, (try Search) you will see it can take some time. Just go for a drive. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
