Door rubbing strips

Have just got around to fitting the door rubbing strips that I bought in January

Nice straightforward job and should stop a few knocks from inconsiderate parkers

Nice job Chris. However "inconsiderate parkers" (read C-Units) that don't give a toss will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS find an area of your vehicle that isn't protected...in my experience in the last 12 months alone, front wings (x2), rear quarter panels and bumper/boot areas.

I now have a Blackvue DR650GW installed....God help the next Motability driving tw-at that hits me and runs! 😡 Foraging near Gaydon....

Plus I always find without fail, park right away from all the others and leave a good gap, when you return theres an old beat up tipper truck, owned by the builders bum fatty type, parked so close you cant get to open you door Rolling Eyes

They look good on a red car, I bought a pair last December and only fitted them last month. I was waiting for some nice weather if the doors are warm the sick on better. Hi Chris. Smart car. I see it's automatic.Do you prefer the auto to the manual gearbox?

My last 7 cars have all been autos. I would definitely would not want a manual (pudding stirrer)

Mine is the first automatic I've had. Taking a bit of getting used to. Keep feeling for clutch at roundabouts. So relaxing to drive otherwise.
