This box is equipped with a slip controlled torque converter clutch (TCC).

No, that (90) is the valve that drives the TCC.

I don't have any useful info. I suffered the same vibration but I fixed it by flushing the auto-fluid out.

the halfshafts are those components that connect the differentials to each wheel.

I had a drive shaft failure, caused vibration at various speeds especially under load. Sometimes worse than others. Here is my story.

Alex... thank you... i saw some pictures with the mechanic... and they had tested all of it first... i do trust them diagnostic... and spent some time talking with him... i found on SONNAX... a repair kit to the solenoids... and showed to him.. this can be a solution.. or even buying the new set of remanufatered solenoids... we are going to try this first..

It's an intermittent error. So clear the error and drive some more.
You can't easily open the torque converter to see the status of the clutch inside it. It's a sealed component. For sure you didn't understand which is the torque converter and it's lock-up clutch I was talking about Below some films of what is and where is the torque converter. It's outside the box. Anyway, I hope I was wrong and the problems were because of the solenoids. We will see. And this is how one is opened. For sure the mechanic didn't do that. |
