Caravan club magazine ds review

If anyone is interested in towing a caravan with a handbag, the caravan club magazine have a review of the discovery sport in the August edition.

I am happy to photo the article and upload it if that's allowed.

Dont think you are allowed to up load a copy on line for all others to read, normally says reproduction of this article, by whatever means is prohibited unless permission has been obtained from the publishers.
I know some forums do have permission from various publishers to do that though.
Otherwise it would mean folk dont need to go out and buy a copy so they would lose out, bit like all this fuss we've had recently over downloading music for free to save buying it??

The Caravan Club magazine is not available to buy. Paid up Club members receive it 'free' each month. Realistically, no one would actually buy it as the content is generally somewhere between poor and very poor and it is more advert than copy. The adverts are 50% caravan and 50% non related garbage like multivitamins and 'old people' shoes, clothes and chairs. Actual new car reviews are, or at least appear to be, quite often linked to magazine advertisers...

In terms of reproducing their material though, I'd imagine that normal copyright rules apply. Can't check as mine is already binned after the now customary very quick skim through and the crossword.

Well for those of us that did not use the magazine to wipe our butts it generally said the following.

They liked the Fl2, were upset to see it go as it was a logical division betwix smal suv and big off roader.

Cabin of DS is basically an Evoque, but a bit plain and lacked embellishment and has a leisurely touchscreen .

On the road very quiet, gearbox made unnecessary gear changes and was also annoyingly reluctant to make them, also from 10mph pulling away gearbox would drop down making a thump or you just got a delay before it decided what to do. Overall excellent handling.

Apparently an electrical retractabal tow bar available for some models. Sounds cool.

Pulled the twin axle 1,580 KG caravan with ease.

Conclusion, Might want to wait for new engine but scored 9/10.

Clearly the article mentioned lots of good things but I thought best to mention the bad points as I prefer my FL2. One point I did notice though was that the noseweight limit has dropped to 100KG whereas the FL2 was 150 - 250KG. That means the DS can not tow some airstreams and continental vans. My caravan noseweight is 100KG so the DS would be on its limit.

To be fair, for a free mag at least it has something to read, now Practical Caravan, you can read that quicker than the Daily Star, and you have to buy it Shocked p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

If the caravan club magazine is free then there shouldn't be a problem posting it here?
It's not taking away any revenue and if credited it should be fine, if unsure drop them a line.

Isn't it the case with the DS that if you have a towbar fitted then you can't have a spare wheel as well? If that is the the case then it detracts somewhat from it's qualities as a (caravan) tow car.
