It sounds like you want to keep it. I kept my cars for 17 & 18 years because I liked them & overall they were fairly good. I got rid of them in the end because they had got to the point of runnings costs due to repairs. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

My wife and I have been looking at what to get next. Basically the FL2 is too big for the two of us (retired) but we want 4 wheel drive capability for occasional use. I was away over the last week or two driving around the south of England and was surprised how many Skoda Yetis are about. Does anyone have any views on them? Incidentally only saw one Disco Sport in my travels. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Is the Yeti really sufficiently smaller than the FL2 to matter? I'd rather have the extra size and the FL2's capability.

A friend uses a Yeti and loves it - 4x4 without any pretensions of a proper offroader. If I left LR I'd probably get a Subaru Forester. A bit plasticky but an ideal country vehicle. Td4 XS manual, Orkney Grey, MY2014 |

Skoda Yeti launched in 2009. Discovery Sport launched in 2014. Can't think why you saw more Yeti's p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I do have a soft spot for a 4x4 Yeti, but I don't think I could own/drive one. |
