What's this?.

Does anyone know what this symbol is?, can't find it in the manual DSC is on and everything seems ok.

Really? Very Happy
I have a vague impression that it's painted on the terrain response controls...
And even on the manual, at the terrain response section is a picture of it...
Or am I wrong?

You are correct Alex, I never thought to look at terrain response pictures I was looking at dash warning symbols. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

I wonder how many drive with an off road mode selected without realising & stress the seemingly fragile drive train with wind up as a result Sad

I use it, on my last FL2 and on this one, my view is that if its there it's to be used, of course some modes are stressful to the car, sand mode all the time, while fun, would be destructive. GGS is very good in traffic jams, smooths the journey and the low speeds will hardly tear the system apart.

My view on those who drive around unknowing of what mode the car is in deserve any fault caused, they probably also drive around with faults, blown lamps, incorrect tyre pressures etc. if they can't be bothered to check before they drive off and take note of the instrument display when driving then they shouldn't be behind the wheel, a train or bus would be a better option for them clearing the road for 'drivers'.
