Previous owner of my SD4 had to have the rear diff bearing replaced under warranty vin no also falls into category
its a 60 plate so 2010, he had towed with it in Austria and bearing failed on return. i have had the car for a year also tow with it twin axle up to 1800kg touch wood no issues so far except the occasional shunt from the haldex which only happens when solo not sure whether to be concerned about this or not car has now done 54k mls starting to think i should have kept my RRS.

That looks a massive caravan when its behind a Freelander.
Looks like it could do with 3 axles.

philclemo, honestly i don't know i tend to get a shunt when leaving my drive turning left as i accelerate quite hard as the car straightens out of the turn i can but not always get a shunt from the rear also got it a couple of times while driving straight, but that's the thing it does not always happen so and i wonder if its just the haldex transferring more drive to the other wheels as the weight distribution of the vehicle changes during acceleration and coming out of the turn when i get the time and i`m next in the vicinity of my Indy i will ask , the dealer is but a few hundred yards from my door but the favorite quote is not a common issue or have`nt heard of that before

Landiroamer yep it`s a big van and to be honest the Freelander is actually pretty stable and capable at towing it , i just can`t help compare it against ( unfairly ) the RRs , but it does the job very well and going to the lake district in September so should give it a good test
