Bluetooth Automatic Connecting - Blackberry

After pairing my BB9900 with my new Freelander, it did not automatically connect when I next entered the car.

The solution was to (on the Blackberry) go to Options (spanner/wrench icon), Networks and Connections, Bluetooth Connections. there you should see a list of the devices you have paired with. One of them should be your car. On my phone the FL2 showed up as My Car. Highlight that device and hit the menu button. From the menu, hit Device Properties. Next to Trusted, change the setting from Prompt to Yes, then save the setting.

Your BB should then connect automatically each time you enter the car and turn on the ignition. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Loire Blue

Thanks. This was very helpful to me. I have had my Metropolis for 4 weeks now. It's a long story. This is my third Freelander. I had my heart set on a range rover evoque. I traded my Freelander in for an Evoque pure tech and was so disappointed. Mainly with the loss of the command driving position and the long forward view on the motorway, the excellent all round visibility. I was interested to see you have an evoque.
The main dealer agreed to part exchange the Evoque for a Freelander 2 metropolis so I am very happy. My phone is a bit confused as it has 4 settings listed for Evoque, old Freelander, husbands Freelander and new Freelander. Thanks for the clear and helpful advice. It worked first time

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Orkney Grey

Upgrade to BlackBerry 10 - the BB10 OS runs on QNX software which is the same core software used by Jaguar/Land Rover infotainment systems. Phone pairing & music streaming is absolutely seamless
