Alarm sounded when i walked past car

This morning i was putting my rear load cover back in my car.

I opened the boot with the boot button on the key fob, put cover in, closed boot.

Put my neighbours bins down their drive, and then put my bins down my drive, BUT

When i walked past my car the alarm went off Confused

I was raining so the windows were covered in beads of water, so i am wondering if it was just a one off or whether the sensors picked me up outside the car (maybe due to the beads of water)

Surely the boot buttons must turn the alarm off, as when i closed the boot the indicators flashed Question Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

If it's raining very heavily the alarm can, on occasion, be triggered but it's rare. Ours has gone off on the D3 a couple of times under severe rain, I think it was a combination of wind shaking, rain hammering and movement all round.

Otherwise, not sure, maybe just a one off? Neutral "CY from DISCO3"

Cheers CY

It was only drizzling, and no wind

I've just put it down to the rain and my shadow or something, and see what happens next bin day Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

For once I agree with CG and think that the alarm system simply goes with its feelings about people close to it Laughing Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!

At least NP wasn't wearing a hoodie, he wouldn't have ever been able to stop the alarm Mr. Green . How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
