I replaced my front and rears with Mintex. They were squeaking before I changed them but try as I might and despite numerous cleaning, chamfering and lubricating attempts, I cannot get rid of the squeeeeeak as I come to a slow speed stop. Sad

I used Mintex 4 discs & 8 pads on the wifes clio, same problem. Off and on, clean and copper grease, no joy. It's quietened down some-what now, but still annoying. Faugh A Ballagh

I find mintex very dusty, I've replaced mine recently with Delphi and so far so good.

Hi, can someone confirm yes/no that having two suppliers discs pads will make a difference to the cars braking ability.

Does it really matter or should it be consistent all round?

Just purchased rear New Brembo discs with brand new genuine Landrover Freelander 2.2 rear brake calipers, carriers, and pads, so should I purchase the same for the fronts - not too sure if the fronts need replacing but should replace all at the same time?
