Vets for Rupert

Rupert's been off his food for a couple of days and been quite cuddly and clingy

Eating lots of grass last night and threw it up, This morning he has done a Poo on the kitchen floor and looks to have blood in it

Hoping nothing serious, though about 4 days ago he was sick and that has fabric in it, like an ear or something off his toys

First time for me having a poorly dog, so a little worried Neutral Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

A trip to the vets, an quick jab of anti biotics and £75 from your wallet along with a light diet of fish/chicken/rice should see him ok. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Some dogs are like that. Our Sam was a walking ailment and was forever at the vets with something or other to the extent we almost had our own parking space. Never anything serious until he was elderly.

Toby is the opposite and very rarely goes to the vets. We do find bits of wood from the kennel in his mess sometimes and he gets the runs quite regularly. Usually after eating chickweed on the footpaths which seems to be a delicacy for spaniels.

We always keep pro-kolin stock which we get from our local manor pharmacy. Excellent stuff for poorly guts.

Oh and yes your vets bill will typically be under your excess. No wonder our head vet drives a FFRR when they charge £15 just to see your pet. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Been through that a few times with Susie. Spaniels are notorious for eating all sorts of unsavoury things. Sometimes we think she feigns illness to get her rice/chicken and peas! Susie has a knack of recovering as quickly as she gets ill so over time we have learned to hold off dashing straight up the vets at the first sign of a cough. I'm sure he'll be fine.

It will be down that way. Rich end of the country Laughing

I've often joked that if a nuke went off in any of the East Midlands counties or even Yorkshire, the news story wouldn't be the top headline. The top headline would be a 10 minute power cut in Kent. If it happens in Kent it must be in the news. Rolling Eyes LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Now £60 lighter and the dog had a injection and given some paste (4ml twice a day) after been checked out

10 mins at £60 is quite a good hourly rate Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
