Thanks,

The spots really make a difference to main beam although the halos are not as bright as I hoped. I wired them through the side lights hoping that they'd be bright enough for drl's but alas no!

I might be able to put a strip between the bumper and the light guards though another bit of research me thinks.

Sorry - what's a halo?

Have been eyeing a neighbour's disco4 black ed, and wondering about the side vents for mine, having seen yours I'll get on it Mr. Green

the "Halo" is a glass ring around the outside of the reflector that is lit up by an LED. looks nice if the weather is a bit dull or at night in dip beam but mine are not bright enough to work as a DRL. They are also known as angel eyes.

I might upgrade the spots to something a little more powerful in the future (I like the ones that you fitted ronp)

Also my Pirelli Scorpions are just about done so I was going to fit some A/T's I have seen some on the web that I like the look of Infinity INF200's 108 load rating and V rated for speed and only £65 a corner! Has anyone tried them?

I'm sticking with 17" wheels as I think they are better for tyre choice and off road, Still debating whether to get the wheels vinyl wrapped, I must admit it'd be nice (although mostly cosmetic I admit) if someone made a snorkel for the freelander 2.

Taking it off-Roading in a few weeks so I might have to invest in some mantec sump and tank guards, we'll have to see!

Haha, looks like we have a similar mission - I was thinking about respraying my wheels too! And you probably saw my ad looking for mantec gear as well as other bits! Thanks for explaining too!

I've just St bought a reversing kit for my 2009 HSE but have since realised I can barely wire a plug. The Cabrera itself I think I can handle, but the mirror screen..... That has me puzzled. I'm not sure where to hide the lovely big connectors without removing the headlining and the cable for power doesn't look very long. Where did you get power from? You don't have any pics of the install do you?

There is plenty of room under the headlining just to push the connectors up without removing the headlining.

There was enough power cable supplied with the mirror I bought to reach and splice into the cable I put in for the SatNav which was wired to F10 via a 'piggy back fuse'
